Senior Managing Director
A business generalist, Bryan’s expertise has impacted the business units of large corporations, worldwide. His experience includes industrial sales, marketing and operations, with a concentration in engineering and manufacturing.
Prior to Joining Private Capital Corporation in 2000, he was VP, sales, marketing and technical services for a capital equipment manufacturer serving the global packaging, product assembly, graphic arts and converting industries.
Bryan’s broad experience began with basic training – when he founded and operated his own manufacturing company. Later, he was founder of one of the earliest ESOP- leveraged buyouts in America, and participated in creating and managing a $95 million spin-off from this well-known multi-billion dollar firm.
In addition to his extensive international business dealings and travels, Colonel Bryan was active in the Army Reserve, completing 30 years of service. During this “other career”, he commanded units at the platoon, company, battalion and brigade levels and was called to active duty in Bosnia. During this period, he was the chief of the J-9 directorate in the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) Joint Operations Center, reporting to U.S. Army General Wesley Clarke. In this role he was responsible for coordinating the efforts of more than 20 nations involved in the NATO-led implementation of the civil tasks of the Dayton Peace Agreement.
Bryan earned his engineering degree at Seattle University, an MS in systems management from USC and a certificate in e-Commerce Management from San Jose State.
